Awards
The LFCC recognizes the efforts of an individual and an agency for outstanding service to the Combined Federal Campaign of Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
Each year the CFC awards special recognition to federal agencies that demonstrate strong support and leadership during the campaign. These awards are determined by several factors, including increases in participation and donations. In order to be considered for an award all agencies must turn in pledge forms by November 30th.
Heart Award
2007 winner - Christopher Chaney, TVA
This award is given on the basis of effort shown above and beyond the call of duty. The Heart Award was initiated as a vehicle in which to recognize outstanding support that may not fall into the other campaign categories. The recipient of this award must demonstrate tremendous determination and commitment to the Combined Federal Campaign.
The award goes to a person whose positive attitude and strong effort make sure her agency not only meets its goal, but goes beyond it to ensure the campaign is a success. This person does not wait for the CFC materials to be delivered, but takes charge and obtains the materials needed. She may make donation deliveries, make the 100% ask, or spearhead agency donations which result in the agency having double-digit percentage increases from the previous year. All successful teams have strong leaders; ones with a passion for what they are doing.

Ricky Jett Award
2007 winner - Indian Health Service
This award is named in the memory of Ricky Jett who was the plant manager for the TVA Johnsonville Fossil Plant. Ricky was an exemplary supporter of the CFC and his community. He led by example, always giving. Without reservation Ricky provided our campaign with a Loaned Executive, supported his local campaign with energy, time, talents, and gifts. He was involved in his community and was a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. During his life, Ricky held many positions in the Scouts, some of which included Weblo's Leader, Cub Master, Scout Master and Merit Badge Counselor. In 1997, Ricky was awarded "Man of the Year" by the African American equality Congress. Ricky was the embodiment of the leadership traits that our community embraces, and we are thankful for having known him.
